Education

1983-1984: Art foundation course. Filton Technical College.
1984-1985: Visual communication degree course, Birmingham Polytechnic. Studied Graphic design for one year before transferring to textiles
1985-1988: Birmingham Polytechnic. BA (Hons) Printed Textiles, 2(1)
2004-2007: MA Multi-disciplinary printmaking, University of the West of England.

Work Experience

1988-1990: Freelance textile designer. Sold mug and tile designs through agent David Puxley and furnishing designs through Jennifer Saunderson.
1990-2002: Fine art cards and prints published by Prime Arts. Exhibited and sold paintings through Prime Arts gallery Bathford.
1999: Presented slide presentation of paintings as part of guided tour through Cheddar Caves.
1999: Sold print design for towels to British Home Stores.
2000: Slide presentation of paintings, St. Catherine’s secondary school, Pill.
2003: Worked with a group of Baha’i children to produce paintings on the theme of Paradise to be exhibited in Bristol museum as an outreach project alongside a National Gallery touring exhibition.
2005: “Horizon of the Unseen” published by Intellect. Full colour book of paintings presented alongside spiritual quotes.
2003-2006: Changing window display of artwork on spiritual themes, Bristol Baha’i Centre.
2004-2006: Led guided meditations within a specially designed room within a Counselling centre, Montpelier. Used the arts as a bridge in and out of the silent meditation.
2006: Opened a gallery in shop Gloucester Rd. Bristol.
2007: Illustrated version of 'The Hidden Words" published by Intellect.
2009: " The Eternal Soul" and 2nd version of "Horizon of the Unseen" published by Intellect.
2010: Paper published in Bahai Studies Review- "Sacred scripture as a catalyst for creative expression: An endless ocean of God's ancient inspiration".
2013: Illustrated version of "The Seven Valleys" published by Intellect
2014: "Essential Insights" published by Intellect. A series of 12 themed compilations on Baha'i writings.
2017: "Colour Meditations" published by Intellect. A series of 9 compilations of spiritual writings each one based on a specific colour.
